Home Depot Caught Selling Recalled Products

On Wednesday, November 18, the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) reported that Home Depot is guilty of selling more than 24 types of items after they were subject to recalls. Reports state that nearly 2,300 products were sold. Of these products, roughly 1,300 were purchased by consumers, while the remaining were bought by recyclers and salvagers who potentially resold these dangerous units.

Some of these recalled products include the following:

  • Fluorescent shop lights
  • Step stools
  • Shears
  • Garage door openers
  • Welding torches
  • Blower vacuums
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Power strips
  • Kitchen ranges

The CPSC reports these items may cause burns, electrocutions, and other types of injuries. All persons injured by harmful products reserve the right to pursue compensation for their injuries.
